RAMBLIN' - THE JACK WILSON QUARTET 🔎

Jack Wilson (August 3, 1936 – October 5, 2007; aged 71) was an American jazz pianist and composer. In 1963 Wilson recorded his first album as a leader, The Jack Wilson Quartet Featuring Roy Ayers for Atlantic Records. This lively session was followed by another Atlantic date fifteen months later, three sessions for Vault (Atlantic's subsidiary) and then an invitation to the Blue Note label, the results of which produced three records, including Easterly Winds in 1967.
Ramblin' is an album by Jack Wilson, recorded in Los Angeles, 1966 released on the Vault label.

Edward Haydn Higgins (February 21, 1932 – August 31, 2009; aged 77) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and orchestrator. His performance and composition in 1959's "Cry of Jazz" is preserved in the Library of Congress' National Film Registry. Soulero is an album by Eddie Higgins Trio(with Richard Evans :bass, Marshall Thompson :drums), recorded in 1965 and released on the Atlantic label.

Darrell Grant(born : May 30, 1962 (age 62), Pittsburgh) is a professional jazz pianist in Portland, Oregon who harnesses the power of music to create change.
In New York, beginning in 1986, Grant worked with a number of legendary jazz musicians, including drummers Roy Haynes and Tony Williams and vocalist Betty Carter.
Grant’s 1994 album, The Black Art, was selected as one of the top ten jazz recordings of the year by the New York Times.

George Wallington (October 27, 1924 – February 15, 1993; aged 68) was an American jazz pianist and composer. Born in Sicily, his career as a pianist began in the early 1940s, when he played with Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker and contributed to the development of bebop.
The New York Scene is an album by George Wallington, trumpet player Donald Byrd, alto saxophone player Phil Woods, bassist Teddy Kotick, and drummer Nick Stabulas recorded in 1957 and released the same year by Prestige Records.

Alan Warren Haig (July 19, 1922 - November 16, 1982; aged 60) was an American jazz pianist, best known as one of the pioneers of bebop. He was part of the nonet on the first session of Miles Davis' Birth of the Cool.
"Al Haig Today!" was recorded in New York on July 6, 1965, with bassist Ed DeHaas and drummer Jim Kappes and original released on the Mint Records. It is one of the great piano trio albums of all time.

Camilo's emergence as a star in his own right began around 1985, the year he debuted with his trio at Carnegie Hall. In that same year he toured Europe with Paquito D’Rivera's quintet, and recorded his first album, Why Not?, for Japan's King Records.

Dionisio Jesús Valdés Rodríguez, better known as Chucho (born October 9, 1941; age 83), is a Cuban pianist, bandleader, composer and arranger whose career spans over 50 years. An original member of the Orquesta Cubana de Música Moderna, in 1973 he founded the group Irakere, one of Cuba's best-known Latin jazz bands.
Live at the Village Vanguard is an album by Chucho Valdés, released through Blue Note Records in 2000. In 2001, the album won Valdés the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album.
