The trio had a week-long engagement at the London House in the summer of 1962, which was extensively recorded. The original material was initially released across four separate LPs: The Trio, The Sound of the Trio, Put On a Happy Face, and Something Warm.
Tracks 1-7 originally appeared on album Put On A Happy Face (Verve V6-8660).
