George "Buddy" Guy (born July 30, 1936) is an American blues guitarist and singer. He is an exponent of Chicago blues and has influenced guitarists including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer.
"This Is Buddy Guy!" is recorded at New Orleans House: Berkeley, California, 1968.

憂歌団は、日本のブルース・バンド。木村充揮(秀勝)・内田勘太郎・花岡献治・島田和夫の4人のメンバーは、1975年のデビュー当時から20年以上に渡り不動であった。1970年、木村と内田の二人で結成。初ステージは花岡以外の3人が在籍していた大阪市立工芸高等学校の文化祭のステージだった。バンド名は「ブルース・バンド」の邦訳で、内田が考えた。1975年10月1日、トリオレコードのショーボートレーベルからシングル「おそうじオバチャン」でデビュー。同曲は彼らの代表曲として知られているが、一週間後に「掃除婦に対して差別的な歌である」との理由により、放送禁止処分を受けた。本作がデビュー・アルバムである。

John Adam Estes (January 25, 1899 or 1900 ? June 5, 1977), known as Sleepy John Estes, was an American blues guitarist, songwriter and vocalist.
In the late '50s Sleepy John Estes wasn't nearly as visible as he had been before and during World War II -- in fact, he had become so obscure that some historians wondered if he had died.
But the blues veteran was still very much alive, and in 1962 a 63-year-old Estes made an impressive comeback with "The Legend of Sleepy John Estes".

原田 芳雄（はらだ よしお、1940年（昭和15年）2月29日 - 2011年（平成23年）7月19日）は、日本の俳優、歌手、タレント。本所工業高校を経て俳優座養成所（15期）を卒業。同期には夏八木勲、栗原小巻、竜崎勝、前田吟、林隆三、地井武男、高橋長英、秋野太作、浜畑賢吉、赤座美代子、太地喜和子、村井国夫などがおり、後年「花の15期生」と呼ばれた。キャリアと共に数多くの映画賞を受賞する一方、独特の渋い声を生かして映画などのナレーションを担当したり、ミュージシャン・ブルース歌手としても活躍した。2011年に没後は「タモリ電車クラブ 名誉会員」の称号を得た。本作「LAST ONE」は1977年12月にリリースされたファースト・アルバムである。

Heinz Becker (born May 28, 1938 in Dresden) is a German jazz musician (trumpet, flugelhorn, also French horn, euphonium and pan flute).
At the beginning of the 1980s he moved to the Federal Republic of Germany and settled in Wuppertal.
He plays with the Globe Unity Orchestra, the London Jazz Composers Orchestra, the Anthony Braxton Creative Orchestra. In 1982 he recorded his first album "PAN-VIELLEICHT TAU" with Johannes Bauer, Petrowsky, Dietmar Diesner, Koch and Helmut "Joe" Sachse.

Globe Unity was formed in autumn 1966 with a commission received by Alexander von Schlippenbach from the Berlin Jazz Festival.
It had its debut at the Berliner Philharmonie on 3 November combining Gunter Hampel's quartet with Manfred Schoof' s quintet and Peter Brötzmann's trio．

Charles Mingus Jr. (April 22, 1922 - January 5, 1979) was an American jazz double bassist, pianist, composer and bandleader.
"Mingus at Antibes" was originally issued by BYG Records under the title "Charles Mingus Live With Eric Dolphy" in Japan in 1974.
It was recorded at a live 1960 performance at the Jazz a Juan festival at Juan-les-Pins by Charles Mingus; and was re-released by Atlantic Records in more complete form as a double album with the title "Mingus In Antibes" in the United States in 1976.

This is the first LP by the Free/Avant Jazz project Grumpff hailing from Giessen/Germany.
It was released in Germany in 1978 on the collectible FMP label with catalogue # SAJ-16, responsible for releasing improvised music since 1969. "Grumpff" had a more radical approach and shizophrenic style.
