Arthur Murray Blythe (July 5, 1940 - March 27, 2017) was an American jazz alto saxophonist and composer. Blythe began to record as a leader in 1977 for the India Navigation label and then for Columbia records from 1978 to 1987.

Philip Wells Woods (November 2, 1931 - September 29, 2015) was an American jazz alto saxophonist, clarinetist, bandleader, and composer. Woods earned the top alto sax player award almost 30 times in Downbeat magazine's annual readers' poll. His quintet was awarded the top small combo title several times.

HANNIBAL - HANNIBAL MARVIN PETERSON

Hannibal Lokumbe (born Marvin Peterson on November 11, 1948) is an American jazz trumpeter.
A native of Smithville, Texas, he was born "Marvin Peterson" but is sometimes known by the name "Hannibal". In the late 1960s he attended North Texas State University for two years, then moved to New York City and went on tour with Rahsaan Roland Kirk. He became a member of the Gil Evans orchestra, an association that lasted through the 1980s, and worked with Roy Haynes and Pharoah Sanders. As the leader of the Sunrise Orchestra, he played koto and trumpet.

Norman Washington Jackson (born 1960), better known as Tiger, is a Jamaican dancehall musician active since the late 1970s. He is known for his growling style of deejaying, often imitated by other dancehall deejays since his initial rise to fame.
Jackson was born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1960. In 1985 and 1986 he had several local hits including "No Wanga Gut" and "No Puppy Love". He was signed by Mango Records who released his first album, Me Name Tiger, in 1986.

THE HONEYDRIPPERS VOLUME ONE

The Honeydrippers: Volume One is an EP released on 24 September 1984, by a band led by rock singer Robert Plant. The project originated when Atlantic Records president Ahmet Ertegun wanted to record an album of his favourite songs from the 1950s.
Plant was chosen because Ertegun had seen his pick-up band the Honeydrippers performing 1950s standards. Included in the band were Chic front man Nile Rodgers, Late Night with David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer, and former Yardbirds guitarists Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.

SHOW STOPPER - JAMAALADEEN TACUMA

Jamaaladeen Tacuma (born Rudy McDaniel; June 11, 1956) is an American free jazz bassist born in Hempstead, New York. He was a bandleader on the Gramavision label and worked with Ornette Coleman during the 1970s and 1980s, mostly in Coleman's Prime Time band.
Tacuma's first solo album, Show Stopper, came in 1983 on the Gramavision label; the album grew out of the jazz-funk style he developed in his work with Coleman. His other works as leader at Gramavision followed that formula.
