Aaron Thibeaux "T-Bone" Walker (May 28, 1910 - March 16, 1975; aged 64) was an American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who was a pioneer and innovator of the jump blues and electric blues sound. In 2018 Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number 67 on its list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".

浅川マキ(1942年1月27日 - 2010年1月17日 67歳没)石川県出身、作詞(詩)家、作曲家、編曲家。1969年7月1日、寺本幸司のプロデュースによる「夜が明けたら」(EXPRESS-レーベル)で正式にレコード・デビュー。以後移籍することなく作品を発表しつつステージを主体に音楽活動を行った。
「寂しい日々」は、1978年12月1日に発表された浅川マキの6枚目(通算10枚目)のオリジナルアルバムである。

George Allen Russell (June 23, 1923 - July 27, 2009; aged 86) was an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger and theorist. He is considered one of the first jazz musicians to contribute to general music theory with a theory of harmony based on jazz rather than European music, in his book Lydian Chromatic Concept of Tonal Organization (1953).
The Jazz Workshop is the debut album by George Russell, featuring his "Smalltet", which included Art Farmer, Hal McKusick, Barry Galbraith, and Bill Evans, recorded March 31, October 17 & December 21, 1956.

Ian Ernest Gilmore Evans (born Green; May 13, 1912 - March 20, 1988; aged 75) was a Canadian-American jazz pianist, arranger, composer and bandleader. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest orchestrators in jazz, playing an important role in the development of cool jazz, modal jazz, free jazz, and jazz fusion. He is best known for his acclaimed collaborations with Miles Davis.
Out of the Cool is a jazz album by The Gil Evans Orchestra, recorded in 1960 and released on the Impulse! label.

三木敏悟。1946年4月2日、旧満州生まれ。コンポーザー、アレンジャー、テナー・サックス奏者。バークレー卒業後、75年に帰国。東京ユニオンにテナー・サックス奏者として入団。その後、作編曲に専念し、77年に東京ユニオンへスコアを提供した『北欧組曲』で日本ジャズ賞を受賞。78年にインナー・ギャラクシー・オーケストラを結成し、本作「海の誘い」(BACK TO THE SEA)を発表。79年にはモントルー・ジャズ・フェスティバルに出演。

Miles Dewey Davis III (May 26, 1926 - September 28, 1991; aged 65) was an American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music.
Miles Davis Volume 1 refers to two separate but related entities. The title was originally used for the first time in a pair of compilation albums of recordings made by Miles Davis in 1952, 1953 and 1954, released in 1956 as BLP 1501 on the Blue Note Records label.

O.T.B. - OUT OF THE BLUE

Out of the Blue, also known as OTB, was an American jazz ensemble founded by Blue Note Records in the 1980s as a showcase for the label's younger musicians. The group was formed in 1984, releasing four albums and touring extensively over the next five years. The lineup changed occasionally over this time, and the group disbanded in 1989 after its members moved on to solo careers. This album is their debut album.
