Miles Dewey Davis III (May 26, 1926 - September 28, 1991; aged 65) was an American trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music. Davis adopted a variety of musical directions in a five-decade career that kept him at the forefront of many major stylistic developments in jazz.
We Want Miles is a double album recorded by Miles Davis in 1981, produced by Teo Macero and released by Columbia Records in 1982. The album combines recordings from the first live appearances by Davis in more than five years, at Boston's Kix Club, on June 27, 1981. Other tracks were recorded at Avery Fisher Hall, New York City, on July 5, and specially prepared stage at Nishi-Shinjuku in Tokyo, October 4 of that year.

John William Coltrane (September 23, 1926 - July 17, 1967; aged 40) was an American jazz saxophonist and composer. Working in the bebop and hard bop idioms early in his career, Coltrane helped pioneer the use of modes and was at the forefront of free jazz. He led at least fifty recording sessions and appeared on many albums by other musicians, including trumpeter Miles Davis and pianist Thelonious Monk.
Anthology is an omnibus album featuring John Coltrane's masterpieces on the Impulse! label.

浅川マキ(1942年1月27日 - 2010年1月17日 67歳没)石川県出身、作詞(詩)家、作曲家、編曲家。1969年7月1日、寺本幸司のプロデュースによる「夜が明けたら」(EXPRESS-レーベル)で正式にレコード・デビュー。以後移籍することなく作品を発表しつつステージを主体に音楽活動を行った。
このアルバムは、京都大学西部講堂と、アケタの店で収録されていたライヴ音源を、後浅川マキ自身がセレクトして1枚のアルバムへとまとめ上げた通算12枚目のアルバム。

Davis adopted a variety of musical directions in a five-decade career that kept him at the forefront of many major stylistic developments in jazz.
Kind of Blue is a studio album by Miles Davis. It was recorded on March 2 and April 22, 1959, at Columbia's 30th Street Studio in New York City, and released on August 17 of that year by Columbia Records.
Kind of Blue is often cited as the best-selling jazz record of all time. In 2019, it was certified 5× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of over five million copies.
