富樫雅彦（1940年3月22日 - 2007年8月22日 67歳没）は、日本のジャズ・ドラマー、打楽器奏者。作曲家。1965年に日本初のフリー・ジャズ・グループと言われる富樫雅彦カルテットを結成。この頃には、唐十郎（俳優、劇作家）や足立正生（映画監督）と共に「新宿の三大天才」と呼ばれていた。
佐藤允彦（1941年10月6日 - ）は、ジャズピアニスト、作曲家。現在でも新宿ピットインに度々出演し元気な演奏を続けている。
翠川敬基（1949年5月10日 - ）は、日本のチェロ奏。ジャズのみならず現代音楽などの領域でも活動している。

Malcolm Earl "Mal" Waldron (August 16, 1925 - December 2, 2002; aged 77) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger.
Waldron is period as house pianist for Prestige Records in the late 1950s. Waldron was often an accompanist for vocalists, and was Billie Holiday's regular accompanist from April 1957 until her death in July 1959.
Mal-1 is the debut album by American jazz pianist Mal Waldron, recorded in 1956 and released on the Prestige label in May 1957.
