Astrud Gilberto (born Astrud Evangelina Weinert, March 29, 1940; age 81) is a Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer. She became popular in the 1960s after her performance of the song "The Girl from Ipanema".
Astrud Gilberto was born Astrud Evangelina Weinert, the daughter of a Brazilian mother and a German father, in the state of Bahia, Brazil. She sang on two tracks on the influential 1963 album Getz/Gilberto featuring João Gilberto, Stan Getz, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, despite having never sung professionally before this recording.
Gilberto with Turrentine is an album by Astrud Gilberto and American saxophonist Stanley Turrentine featuring performances recorded in 1971 released on the CTI label.

小野リサ(Lisa Ono、1962年7月29日 - 59歳)は日本人ボサノヴァ歌手。ブラジル音楽が好きな父がライブハウスを経営しようと1958年に渡伯。サンパウロで「クラブ一番」という店を営んでいた両親の下、ブラジルで生まれる。日系ブラジル人の幼稚園に通い、日本とブラジルの音楽両方に囲まれて育つ。その後10歳の時に日本に帰って来た。1989年にアルバム『カトピリ』でデビュー。1991年、アルバム『ナナン(NANÃ)』で日本ゴールドディスク大賞のジャズ部門を受賞。2013年、ブラジル音楽への献身と日本でのボサノヴァ普及の功績に対し、ブラジル政府からリオブランコ国家勲章の叙勲を受けた。

Antonio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (25 January 1927 - 8 December 1994; aged 67), also known as Tom Jobim, was a Brazilian composer, pianist, songwriter, arranger and singer. Considered one of the great exponents of Brazilian music, Jobim internationalized bossa nova and, with the help of important American artists, merged it with jazz in the 1960s to create a new sound with popular success. As such he is sometimes known as the "father of bossa nova".
Elis Regina Carvalho Costa (March 17, 1945 - January 19, 1982; aged 36), known professionally as Elis Regina, was a Brazilian singer of popular and jazz music, she is also the mother of the singers Maria Rita and Pedro Mariano.

Her recording of "Cry Me a River", a track she introduced on her debut album, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001.
