Ismael Miranda, also known as El Niño Bonito de la Salsa ("The Pretty Boy of Salsa") (born February 20, 1950; age 73) is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter.
In 1969, Miranda joined the Fania All Stars and went with the band on tour to Europe, Asia and Latin America. In 1973, he formed his own band called "Orquesta Revelación" and recorded "Así se compone un son" under the Fania records label.

James "Blood" Ulmer (born February 8, 1940; age 83) is an American jazz, free funk and blues guitarist and singer. Ulmer plays a Gibson Byrdland guitar. His guitar sound has been described as "jagged" and "stinging". Ulmer formed Music Revelation Ensemble around 1980, co-led with David Murray for the first decade and lasting into the 1990s.
After Dark is an album by James Blood Ulmer's Music Revelation Ensemble recorded in 1991 and released on the Japanese DIW label featuring performances by Ulmer with David Murray, Amin Ali and Cornell Rochester.

LIVE - 29th STREET SAXOPHONE QUARTET

The 29th Street Saxophone Quartet was an American saxophone quartet. Established in 1982, the ensemble's members included alto saxophonists Bobby Watson and Ed Jackson, tenor saxophonist Rich Rothenberg, and baritone saxophonist Jim Hartog. The group has performed an eclectic repertoire, including jazz, show tunes, funk, rap, and original experimental works. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s the band toured in Britain, Europe, Turkey, Canada and in the United States.
Live is an album by The 29th Street Saxophone Quartet which was recorded at Capolinea, Milano, Italy, July 1988 and released on Red Record label.

OASIS - NEW YORK JAZZ QUARTET

The New York Jazz Quartet was founded by pianist Roland Hanna. First consisting of flautist Hubert Laws, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Billy Cobham, in 1974 the lineup changed to Frank Wess, bassist George Mraz, and drummer Ben Riley. Richie Pratt and Grady Tate also contributed. The group recorded for the Inner City, Enja, Salvation and Sonet Records from 1972 to 1982.
Oasis is an album by the New York Jazz Quartet which was recorded in 1981 and released on Enja Records.

CONCORDE - THE MODERN JAZZ QUARTET

The Modern Jazz Quartet (MJQ) was a jazz combo established in 1952 that played music influenced by classical, cool jazz, blues and bebop. For most of its history the Quartet consisted of John Lewis (piano), Milt Jackson (vibraphone), Percy Heath (double bass), and Connie Kay (drums). The group grew out of the rhythm section of Dizzy Gillespie's big band from 1946 to 1948, which consisted of Lewis and Jackson along with bassist Ray Brown and drummer Kenny Clarke.
Concorde is an album by the Modern Jazz Quartet, recorded in New York on July 2, 1955, and first released that year as an LP, Prestige 7005. The album is the first to feature drummer Connie Kay, who replaced Kenny Clarke in 1955.

Novi Singers or NOVI - Polish jazz vocal group active in the years 1964–1985.
The ensemble was formed as a quintet founded in 1964 by Bernard Kawka and four other students of the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw. The name of the group is an abbreviation, the full wording is: New Original Vocal Instruments. The Novi Singers were the precursors of this style in Poland.
Novi in Wonderland is an album by Novi Singers and Novi Quartet which was recorded in 1968, released on SABA label.

In 1974 he recorded Música en serio, in the format of a jazz trio, together with Neldo Castro on double bass and electric bass and Gastón Buenseñor on drums and percussion. On the album they covered composers such as Tom Jobim, Cole Porter, Astor Piazzolla, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Vinícius de Moraes, Ariel Ramírez, Doryval Caymmi.
