LOUISIANA SLIM - LEON SPENCER

Leon Spencer (November 1, 1945 – March 11, 2012; aged 77) was an American jazz organist from Houston, Texas. He played piano with David Newman and organ with Melvin Sparks. Spencer recorded for Prestige in the early 1970s with Buddy Caldwell, Idris Muhammad, Melvin Sparks, and Grover Washington Jr.
Louisiana Slim is the second album by Leon Spencer recorded for the Prestige label in 1971.

He is also credited with giving guitarist George Benson his first break.
Color Me Blue is a 1992 album by Brother Jack McDuff which was released on the Concord Jazz label.

Whipped Cream & Other Delights is a 1965 album by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, called "Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass" for this album, released on A&M Records. It is the band's fourth full album and arguably their most popular release.

Eddie Henderson (born October 26, 1940; age 82) is an American jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player. He came to prominence in the early 1970s as a member of pianist Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi band, going on to lead his own electric/fusion groups through the decade. Henderson earned his medical degree and worked a parallel career as a psychiatrist and musician, turning back to acoustic jazz by the 1990s.
