Horace Ward Martin Tavares Silver (September 2, 1928 - June 18, 2014; aged 85) was an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, particularly in the hard bop style that he helped pioneer in the 1950s.
Silver 'n Wood is an album by Horace Silver released on the Blue Note label in 1975 featuring performances by Silver with Tom Harrell, Bob Berg, Ron Carter and Al Foster, with an overdubbed horn section conducted by Wade Marcus.

Cándido Camero Guerra (22 April 1921 – 7 November 2020; aged 99), known simply as Cándido, was a Cuban conga and bongo player. He is considered a pioneer of Afro-Cuban jazz and an innovator in conga drumming.
Beautiful is an album by Candido Camero recorded in 1970 and released on the Blue Note label. The album has sonic influences from North America, West Africa and Cuba itself.

BARBARA CARROLL

Barbara Carroll (born Barbara Carole Coppersmith; January 25, 1925 – February 12, 2017; aged 92) was an American jazz pianist and vocalist.
In 1947 Leonard Feather dubbed her "the first girl ever to play bebop piano." In 1975 she was asked by Rita Coolidge to work on a session for A&M. In 1978 she toured with Coolidge and Kris Kristofferson. In the following two decades she became known as a cabaret performer.
Barbara Carroll is 1976 album released on the Blue Note label.

Gene Harris (born Eugene Haire, September 1, 1933 - January 16, 2000; aged 66) was an American jazz pianist known for his warm sound and blues and gospel infused style that is known as soul jazz. From 1956 to 1970, he played in The Three Sounds trio with bassist Andy Simpkins and drummer Bill Dowdy. During this time, The Three Sounds recorded regularly for Blue Note and Verve.

Henry "Hank" Mobley (July 7, 1930 - May 30, 1986; aged 55) was an American hard bop and soul jazz tenor saxophonist and composer. Mobley was described by Leonard Feather as the "middleweight champion of the tenor saxophone", a metaphor used to describe his tone, that was neither as aggressive as John Coltrane nor as mellow as Stan Getz, and his style that was laid-back, subtle and melodic, especially in contrast with players like Coltrane and Sonny Rollins.
A Caddy for Daddy is an album by Hank Mobley recorded on December 18, 1965, and released on the Blue Note label in 1967.

Wayne Shorter (August 25, 1933 – March 2, 2023; aged 89) is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. Shorter came to prominence in the late 1950s as a member of, and eventually primary composer for, Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers. In the 1960s, he joined Miles Davis's Second Great Quintet, and then co-founded the jazz fusion band Weather Report. He has recorded over 20 albums as a bandleader.
Moto Grosso Feio is the thirteenth album by Wayne Shorter, recorded in 1970 but not released on the Blue Note label until 1974.
