Anthony Tillmon Williams (December 12, 1945 - February 23, 1997; aged 51) was an American jazz drummer. Williams first gained fame in the band of trumpeter Miles Davis and pioneered jazz fusion. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1986.

He served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1949 and subsequently played in a Detroit house band led by Billy Mitchell. In a career lasting over 75 years he has played swing, bebop, jazz fusion, avant-garde jazz and is considered a father of modern jazz drumming.
