WATARASE - FUMIO ITABASHI

板橋 文夫(1949年3月8日 - )ジャズ・ピアニスト。作曲家。栃木県足利市出身。国立音楽大学進学後、先輩である本田竹廣氏のピアノ演奏を聴いてジャズに開眼。1970年、渡辺貞夫クインテットでプロ・デビュー後、日野皓正クインテット、森山威男カルテットに参加する一方、自己のトリオでの活動も開始。エルヴィン・ジョーンズ (ds)やレイ・アンダーソン (tb)とのワールドツアーにも参加。
「WATARASE(渡良瀬)」は1981年10月にレコーディングされたソロピアノである。

Ramon "Mongo" Santamaria Rodriguez (April 7, 1917 - February 1, 2003; aged 85) was a Cuban percussionist and bandleader who spent most of his career in the United States. Primarily a conga drummer, Santamaria was a leading figure in the pachanga and boogaloo dance crazes of the 1960s. His biggest hit was his rendition of Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man", which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.

Valeniza Zagni da Silva (Sao Paulo, October 17, 1944 - Sao Paulo, May 8, 1978; aged 33), better known by the pseudonym Tuca, was a Brazilian singer and songwriter. In 1966 she released her first album Meu Eu, on Chantecler. In 1968 she records the self-titled Tuca, for Phillips. Tuca died in 1978, as a result of a very intense diet to which she was submitted, which included the use of medication to lose weight.

Caetano Emanuel Viana Telles Veloso (born August 7, 1942; age 79) is a Brazilian composer, singer, guitarist, writer, and political activist. Veloso first became known for his participation in the Brazilian musical movement Tropicalismo, which encompassed theatre, poetry and music in the 1960s, at the beginning of the Brazilian military dictatorship that took power in 1964. He has remained a constant creative influence and best-selling performing artist and composer ever since. Veloso has won nine Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards.
