Gary Bartz (born September 26, 1940; age 85) is an American jazz saxophonist. He has won two Grammy Awards. In 1968, he was a member of McCoy Tyner's band, Expansions. In mid-1970, he joined Miles Davis' band.
Cornelius "Sonny" Fortune (May 19, 1939 – October 25, 2018; aged 79) was an American jazz saxophonist. Fortune played soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, clarinet, and flute.
Alto Memories is a collaborative album by Gary Bartz and Sonny Fortune, recorded in 1993. It was released on the Verve label.

Diz and Getz is a 1955 album featuring a studio collaboration between two towering figures of jazz, bebop trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie and cool-jazz saxophonist Stan Getz. The session was arranged by jazz impresario Norman Granz, who was known for bringing together star musicians from different jazz schools.
The bulk of the album was recorded on December 9, 1953, in Los Angeles, with one track recorded in New York on May 25, 1954.

Stan Getz and Bill Evans are two giants of the jazz world known for their collaborations in the 1960s.
Studio Album: Stan Getz & Bill Evans is recorded on May 5 and 6, 1964, at Rudy Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Although recorded, it was shelved due to the policy of Verve Records at the time (as Stan Getz had found success with the bossa nova trend). It was finally released in 1973 under the title Stan Getz & Bill Evans (Previously Unreleased Recordings).
