CHRIS CONNOR at the VILLAGE GATE 🔎

Mary Jean Loutsenhizer, professionally known as Chris Connor (November 8, 1927 – August 29, 2009; aged 81), was an American jazz singer.
Chris Connor's live album, "At the Village Gate," was recorded in 1963 at the famous New York club, the Village Gate.
She's backed by a quartet consisting of Ronnie Ball (piano), Mandell Lowe (guitar), Richard Davis (bass), and Ed Shaughnessy (drums). The original recording was released on the FM label (FM-300) in 1963. It has since been reissued many times, including by Roulette and in Japan.
