Chamber Music Society is the third studio album by Esperanza Spalding. It was released on August 17, 2010 by Heads Up International.

Toshinori Kondo (born 1948 in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, Japan) was a trumpeter and producer (died in 2020).
Tristan Honsinger (born 1949, Vermont, USA) was a cellist and composer (died 2023).
The two began performing together around 1980, and had a deep relationship of trust, with Honzinger even participating in events such as the "Tokyo Meeting" hosted by Kondo.
"This, That and the Other" is a jazz album released in 1987 by Tristan Honsinger and Toshinori Kondo. Released by the German label ITM Records, it features contemporary jazz and free improvisation.

THE 吉原 - 栄芝 × 近藤等則 🔎

The album aims to "fuse traditional Japanese performing arts with modern technology," and is an ambitious work that mixes the melodies of Hauta and Kouta, which have been passed down since the Edo period, with club-style beats and electronic sounds produced by Kondo Toshinori.
It was released by Victor Entertainment in Japan on May 14, 2003.
By the way, Yoshiwara was the most famous licensed pleasure district in Edo (modern-day Tokyo) during the Edo period.

Takahashi Chikuzan (高橋竹山) (6/18/1910 - 2/5/1998; aged 87) was a renowned Japanese Tsugaru-jamisen performer and composer.
He lost his sight at around age two from measles before becoming a live-in apprentice of a Tsugaru-jamisen performer called Toda Jūjirō near his home town.
His performances, for many years taking place regularly at a small venue called Shibuya Jean-Jean in Shibuya Ward of Tokyo, often featured long solo improvisations.
